Article I: League Name and Purpose
1.1 Name: The name of this fantasy football league shall be "Road To Glory Fantasy Football League" or RTG FFL.
1.2 Purpose: The purpose of RTG FFL is to provide a fun and competitive fantasy football experience for all members while promoting camaraderie and sportsmanship among participants.
1.2 Fair Play: Road To Glory Fantasy Football League emphasizes fair play and sportsmanship as fundamental principles governing all league activities, including team management, transactions, and communication.
Article II: League Format
2.1 League Size: There will be a number of 12 teams-12 owners.
2.2 Scoring System: The league shall use the half point per reception scoring system (.5 PPR) for fantasy football, as agreed upon by all league members prior to the draft.
2.3 Team Composition: Each team shall consist of a roster of players as follows:
1 Quarterback (QB)
2 Running Backs (RB)
2 Wide Receivers (WR)
1 Tight End (TE)
1 Flex (RB/WR/TE)
1 Defense/Special Teams (D/ST)
1 Kicker (K)
6 Bench spots
1 IR spot
(All roster number slots determined by league vote)
Article III: Draft
3.1 Draft Order: The draft order shall be determined randomly using a draft order generator.
3.2 Members will choose their draft spot that was determined by the random number generator. Pick 1 chooses their draft spot first down to 12th picking theirs last
3.3 Draft Format: The draft shall be conducted either online or in person, following a snake format (reversing the draft order in each round).
3.4 Draft Timer: Each team shall have 90 seconds.
Article IV: Regular Season
4.1 Schedule: The regular season shall consist of 14 weeks or 14 regular season games, with each team playing against one another at least once with three repeat games.
4.2 Matchups: During the regular season, teams will be matched up against each other based on the schedule generated randomly by the league platform.
4.3 Standings: Standings shall be determined by each team's win-loss record, followed by total points scored in the event of tiebreakers.
4.4 Ties: Bench points will be added up to determine the winner in the event of a tie at the end of a game.
Article V: Playoffs
5.1 Playoff Qualification: The top [number of playoff teams] teams with the best records at the end of the regular season shall qualify for the playoffs.
5.2 Playoff Format: The playoff format is single elimination
5.3 Tiebreakers: In case of a tie during the playoffs, the tiebreaker shall be total points scored during the respective playoff rounds.
Article VI: Transactions
6.1 Waiver System: The league shall employ a waiver system to manage player acquisitions during the season.
6.2 Waiver Order: The waiver order shall be based on a rolling waiver priority
6.3 Trades: Trades are allowed and shall be subject to a review by the league commissioner to ensure fairness and prevent collusion.
6.4 Trade Deadline: November 18th
Article VII: League Fees and Prizes
7.1 League Entry Fee: All league members shall contribute ($30), which will contribute to the league's prize pool.
7.2 Prize Distribution: The prize pool shall be winner takes all. The team that finishes first place will receive the full cash prize
Article VIII: League Governance
8.1 League Commissioner: The league shall have a commissioner responsible for overseeing the league's operations and resolving disputes.
8.2 Rule Changes: Any proposed rule changes shall be discussed and voted upon by league members before implementation.
Article IX: Code of Conduct
9.1 Fair Play: Any actions deemed detrimental to the integrity of the league, including collusion and tanking, shall be strictly prohibited.
Article X: Accusations of Cheating
10.1 Accusations Process: If any league member believes that another team or manager is engaged in cheating or unfair practices, they may submit an accusation to the league commissioner in writing or through an official league communication channel.
10.2 Evidence Requirement: Any accusation of cheating must be accompanied by substantial evidence supporting the claim. This evidence may include screenshots, chat logs, or any other relevant documentation to substantiate the allegation.
10.3 Confidentiality: The league commissioner shall treat all accusations with strict confidentiality. Only the involved parties, the league commissioner, and any necessary witnesses shall be privy to the details of the accusation and investigation.
Article XI: Commissioner's Role
11.1 Investigation: Upon receiving an accusation of cheating, the league commissioner shall conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the matter.
11.2 Fact-Finding: The commissioner may request additional information or interviews with relevant parties to gather a comprehensive understanding of the situation.
11.3 Mediation: If the accused party disputes the allegations, the commissioner may mediate discussions between the involved parties to find an amicable resolution.
Article XII: Determining Cheating
12.1 Standard of Proof: In cases of cheating accusations, the commissioner shall apply the "preponderance of evidence" standard. The evidence must show that cheating is more likely to have occurred than not.
12.2 Types of Cheating: Cheating includes, but is not limited to, collusion, unauthorized roster manipulation, use of prohibited tools, or any action that violates the league's established rules and regulations.
Article XIII: Penalties
13.1 Guilty Findings: If, after the investigation, the commissioner finds substantial evidence supporting the accusation of cheating, the accused party may face appropriate penalties as determined by the commissioner and league members.
13.2 Penalties Range: Penalties for cheating may include, but are not limited to, a warning, loss of draft picks, fines, temporary suspension, or expulsion from the league.
13.3 Repeat Offenses: For repeat offenses or severe violations, the commissioner and league members may impose harsher penalties, including permanent expulsion from the league.
Article XIV: Appeal Process
14.1 Appeal Request: The accused party has the right to request an appeal if they disagree with the commissioner's findings and imposed penalties.
14.2 Appeals Board: The league shall establish an appeals board consisting of impartial members who were not involved in the initial investigation or decision.
14.3 Appeal Review: The appeals board shall conduct a review of the accusation, investigation, and penalties to determine if due process was followed and if the evidence justifies the imposed penalties.
14.4 Final Decision: The appeals board's decision shall be final and binding, and no further appeals will be entertained.
Article XV: Communication
15.1 Transparency: The league commissioner shall keep all league members informed of any cheating accusations, investigations, and outcomes while respecting the privacy of the parties involved.
15.2 Confidentiality: League members shall refrain from publicly discussing the details of the accusation or investigation to maintain confidentiality and prevent unnecessary drama.
Article XVI: Amendments
16.1 Proposals to amend or revise these bylaws shall follow the same voting procedures outlined in this document.
16.2 Majority Approval: Bylaw amendments shall require a simple majority of votes to be approved
Article XVII: Voting Process
17.1 Majority Wins: All league decisions and rule changes shall be determined through a voting process, and the outcome will be based on a simple majority of votes.
17.2 Proposal Rights: Any team owner in the "Road To Glory Fantasy Football League" or RTG FFL has the right to propose a vote on any league-related matter, including rule changes, league format adjustments, and other relevant topics.
Article XVIII: Voting Procedures
18.1 Proposal Submission: To propose a vote, a team owner must submit the proposed change or topic in writing or through an official league communication channel to the league commissioner. Snapchat group chat, email or text.
18.2 Review and Approval: The league commissioner shall review the proposed vote to ensure it adheres to the league's bylaws and is relevant to the league's interests. If approved, the commissioner shall schedule the vote.
18.3 Voting Period: The voting period for each proposal shall be determined by the league commissioner, allowing all league members sufficient time to cast their votes.
18.4 Voting Options: Each team owner shall have the option to vote "For," "Against," or "Abstain" on the proposed vote.
18.5 Casting Votes: Team owners shall cast their votes through a secure and confidential voting system established by the league commissioner.
Article XIX: Vote Counting
19.1 Majority Requirement: To pass a vote, a simple majority of the cast votes is required. In the event of a tie, the proposal shall not pass.
19.2 Abstentions: Abstentions shall not be counted in the final vote tally and will have no effect on the outcome.
Article XX: Implementation of Passed Votes
20.1 Effective Date: If a proposed vote passes, the approved change or decision shall take effect immediately or as specified in the vote results.
20.2 Rule Amendments: In the case of rule changes, the league commissioner shall update the official league rules document to reflect the approved modifications.
20.3 League Communication: The league commissioner shall inform all league members of the vote results and any resulting changes promptly.

22.1 Bylaw Amendments: Proposals to amend or revise these bylaws shall follow the same voting procedures outlined in this document.
22.2 Majority Approval: Bylaw amendments shall require a simple majority of votes to be approved.

23.1 Voting Transparency: The league commissioner shall ensure transparency throughout the voting process, sharing the proposal details, voting results, and final outcomes with all league members.
23.2 Respectful Discussions: Team owners are encouraged to engage in respectful and constructive discussions regarding proposed votes, facilitating a well-informed decision-making process.
Article XXIV: League Membership
24.1 Initial Members: The founding members of the "Road To Glory Fantasy Football League" or RTG FFL were determined before the league's inaugural season.
24.2 Limit on Members: The League shall set a maximum limit on the number of teams/owners allowed in the league. Currently 12 teams/owners
Article XXV: Adding New Members
25.1 Expansion Vote: If the League decides to expand and add new members, the current league members shall conduct a league-wide vote to determine the number of new teams to be added and the criteria for selecting new owners.
25.2 New Member Selection Criteria: The criteria for selecting new members should include factors such as interest, commitment, experience, and overall fit with the existing league culture.
25.3 Commissioner's Role: The league commissioner shall oversee the process of adding new members, ensuring that it is fair and transparent.
25.4 Application and Interview Process: Prospective new members shall submit applications to the league commissioner expressing their interest in joining the league. The commissioner may conduct informal interviews with potential candidates to assess their suitability.
25.5 Majority Approval: New members shall be accepted based on a majority vote of the current league members.
25.6 Team Assignment: Once new members are approved, the commissioner shall assign them to specific teams or conduct a fair draft to allocate players.
Article XXVI: Removal of Members
26.1 Grounds for Removal: Members may be subject to removal from the League under certain circumstances, including but not limited to: a) Violation of league rules or bylaws. b) Repeated failure to set lineups or lack of active participation. c) Conduct that disrupts league harmony or sportsmanship.
26.2 Warning and Mediation: In cases where a member's behavior raises concerns, the league commissioner shall issue a warning and attempt to mediate any conflicts or issues.
26.3 Vote for Removal: If the commissioner deems it necessary to consider removing a member, a league-wide vote shall be conducted to determine whether the individual should be removed from the League.
26.4 Removal Threshold: To remove a member, a supermajority vote (e.g., two-thirds majority) of the current league members shall be required.
26.5 Replacement Process: If a member is removed, the league shall follow the process for adding new members (as outlined in Article XXV ) to fill the vacant team.
Article XXVII: Resignation
27.1 Voluntary Resignation: Members have the right to voluntarily resign from the League at any time during the season.
27.2 Consequences of Resignation: If a member voluntarily resigns, the league commissioner shall find a replacement according to the process outlined in Article II.
Article XXVIII: Effective Date
28.1 Effective Date: These bylaws shall take effect immediately upon approval by the majority of league members.
